I do not want a trading bot. i have a VBA spreadsheet to scrape some non-coonfidential racecard data. I specify the dd_mm_yyyy for the racecard I want to download and this spreadsheet has worked for years. Suddenly on May 19th 2026 data scraping has stopped dead with no error message. I suspect the database owner chnged the format of the dd_mm_yyyy key used successfully for so many years.

This could be a very easy job, not a software enhancement, but it needs doing urgently. And of course it will be paid.

My immediate need for software amendment has been met and paid for successfully. However as time goes on there is bound to be more work required. I am for 40 years an IBM mainframe programmer so my specs for change will be clear and unambiguous.
