Using Cell Q2 to set the refresh rate

Postby Hovrin » Fri Apr 11, 2014 4:35 pm

I'm sure that I have used Q2 to alter the refresh rate in the past. All I did was enter a number and the refresh rate altered on the BA display and the refresh rate changed.

I cannot get this to work today - has anything been altered? I have looked in the Help file and tried searching the forum but I cannot see what I am doing wrong.

Can anybody help please. :? :? :?

Have you checked all the basics like auto refresh is ticked, your sheet is being sent to A1, if not adjust the Q2 cell accordingly, trigger betting is enabled, no other VBA is adjusting the cell value, If none of those try rebooting/ reinstalling if all else fails

Hi Captain, and thanks for the reply.

Yes, I have tried all of those except for trigger betting enabled. I was still testing the routine so didn't want to actually place bets. However, the routine seems to be working so will try this afternoon.

Will confirm results later.

Thanks again.

I think trigger betting needs to be enabled for some of the special cells to work. I used to just mis spell the trigger in lower case whilst testing so it wouldn't fire and transfer most of the bank to the Aussie wallet when small stakes testing before going fully live

Sports betting software from Gruss Software

The strength of Gruss Software is that it’s been designed by one of you, a frustrated sports punter, and then developed by listening to dozens of like-minded enthusiasts.

Gruss is owned and run by brothers Gary and Mark Russell. Gary discovered Betfair in 2004 and soon realised that using bespoke software to place bets was much more efficient than merely placing them through the website.

Gary built his own software and then enhanced its features after trialling it through other Betfair users and reacting to their improvement ideas, something that still happens today.

He started making a small monthly charge so he could work on it full-time and then recruited Mark to help develop the products and Gruss Software was born.

We think it’s the best of its kind and so do a lot of our customers. But you can never stand still in this game and we’ll continue to improve the software if any more great ideas emerge.
