Options not saving

Having worked fine for a long time, suddenly my Options are not saving between sessions, nor my Betfair username.

it is becoming quite tiresome to have to setup up BA every time I use it!

So far I have:

- set run as Administrator (even though UAC is turned off)
- downloaded and installed latest beta

I have this issue on both my Win7 and Win8 computers.

Any thoughts?

Hi,

Try deleting the settings file and start from fresh.

From the Options menu, click on "Open Settings folder"

Close Betting Assistant.

Go to the folder that has just been opened and delete the file named user.config

Restart Betting Assistant and it should be back to factory settings.

See if that fixes your problem.

Additionally, does this happen on the default profile or on a different one?

My apologies for responding so slowly.

Deleting the settings file has cured the problem, many thanks.

For Info Austin, I only use the default profile

username is not stored for some time now

I have installed / reinstalled BA - beta2 and beta3
I have also deleted the user file - with ba closed - which restored original settings but not the username storing
rebooting done between some of the above steps

Can you send a copy of the user.config file to us by email and we will see if we can see what is wrong.
