Default stake in Ladder mode

Hi,

I have set my default Lay & Back stakes at 50p in Preferences, Staking and that is carried into the Stake field of Field bats tab on the main screen. With Verify Bets turned on, hen I lay a bet in the standard view the 50p value is used but when I lay a bet in Ladder view the bet dialog defaults to £2 and I have to overwrite it with 0.5 before placing the lay. As I want to use the ladder view for all my laying during my trials with lays, how do I force the ladder lay to default to £0.50?

Hi,

Change the preset ladder stake buttons by double clicking on the button.

Thanks for your reply - the button you refer to, is that the button labelled 'Ladder interface'? If I double click on that as quickly as I can it just flicks from Standard Interface to Ladder Interface and back!Do I not have a quick enough double click or am I clicking on the wrong button?

Hi,

When you are in the ladder view there are 6 stake buttons at the botttom.
The one with the red background shows the amount that will be used for your stake when placing a bet on the ladder.
If you have the default values the first button will show 2.
Double click on this button to change its value.

I am just curious as to exactly what I am missing here?

When I set any default stakes on the ladder or standard interface they
always remain at exactly the stakes I have set?

Even if I back or lay the field using bets manager or not my stakes
always remain as I set them - the first button will always be the first
default on either the ladder or standard interface - double click, set, done!

If I set them in preferences they are still the way I set them - never do
they revert back to £2? Opening/closing tabs or the program - the same.

Maybe this is of no use to anyone but I just don't get the problem?

The problem is that it selects the first preset stake each time you select a market. Suppose you have £2 in the first stake box and £5 in the second. If you select the £5 stake it will select the £2 stake next time you select a market. If you are always using the first preset stake then you won't notice it.
