Can I do this automatically? Using an offset?

Hi
Currently I lay a horse for say £3 and get it matched then place a back bet for £2.50 and increase the odds until estimated profit about 50p with keep option
When the Market turns in-play and the race progresses I wait for the bet to get matched.

Is there a way of automating this using excel using the tick offset etc? I had a look and the problem I could forsee was that different odds required different number of ticks to green up

Any help much appreciated
