Wait Until scheduled off behaviour changed?

Postby plake » Wed Nov 09, 2011 6:36 am

Has the this behaviour changed.

Many versions ago BA kept its own time so didnt adjust to time changes once the app was started. Selecting wait until scheduled off used to advance based on the times in the Quick Pick List - racebook times

Now if races are set back one race which happens now and then the quick pick list will wait until the active race is run - even tho it has been set back 30mins and there are other races that will run first.

Perhaps BetFair has changed and is resetting race start times dynamically. Is there anyway of adding an option to advance by racebook time rather than dynamically adjusting to Betfair race times if this is what is happening - or refreshing the quick pick list with a dynamically ordered list of race start times.

We haven't changed the way it works. It's still based on the time in the quick pick list. Are you sure you didn't use "Wait until actual off" by mistake?

Sports betting software from Gruss Software

The strength of Gruss Software is that it’s been designed by one of you, a frustrated sports punter, and then developed by listening to dozens of like-minded enthusiasts.

Gruss is owned and run by brothers Gary and Mark Russell. Gary discovered Betfair in 2004 and soon realised that using bespoke software to place bets was much more efficient than merely placing them through the website.

Gary built his own software and then enhanced its features after trialling it through other Betfair users and reacting to their improvement ideas, something that still happens today.

He started making a small monthly charge so he could work on it full-time and then recruited Mark to help develop the products and Gruss Software was born.

We think it’s the best of its kind and so do a lot of our customers. But you can never stand still in this game and we’ll continue to improve the software if any more great ideas emerge.
