Postby msea2win » Tue Jan 06, 2015 3:21 pm

Hallo to everyone
I downloaded this program ( Grruss) before christmas
but I dot know where to start, and as its a live account I dont want to
start clicking away to see what it can do, then find I have no money left,

so what can it do ? SIMPLE answers please

I see there are instructional videos, but they are a bit all over the place
are there any structered simple work book style exercises I can work
through to learn how to use this ?

thank you in advance for any help

Which version have you downloaded, Betfair or Betdaq?

keep the stakes as low as possible and trade out before the start of the race. That will keep potential losses to a minimum, when you see what's what then bet for real - Paul

Thanks for the replies,
I have the Betfair version, and I have spent quite a lot of time on Betfair over the last 10 months
and I recently took an online course about beginning to trade, and this program seems to incorporate a lot of those elements
but at the same time its unfamilar, will just have to keep researching, but if anyone can think of a good place to begin,
feel free to let me know,

It might be an idea if you let us know roughly how you want to use the program. I'm not asking for the exact details of what you want to do, just an idea. For instance, I, like many here I think, link Betting Assistant to an Excel spreadsheet, so my betting is completely automated. I make my selections in the morning, put them on a spreadsheet and Betting Assistant places my bets at a specific time before each race, as long as my specified conditions are met.

However, others may use the program "Live", as in, using it to place bets as it simplifies the process compared to the Betfair website especially if you're pre-race or in-race trading.

If you give us a little more information I'm sure someone will be able to help.

Hi msea2win, any notes so far on how you're trying to use this program?

Sports betting software from Gruss Software

The strength of Gruss Software is that it’s been designed by one of you, a frustrated sports punter, and then developed by listening to dozens of like-minded enthusiasts.

Gruss is owned and run by brothers Gary and Mark Russell. Gary discovered Betfair in 2004 and soon realised that using bespoke software to place bets was much more efficient than merely placing them through the website.

Gary built his own software and then enhanced its features after trialling it through other Betfair users and reacting to their improvement ideas, something that still happens today.

He started making a small monthly charge so he could work on it full-time and then recruited Mark to help develop the products and Gruss Software was born.

We think it’s the best of its kind and so do a lot of our customers. But you can never stand still in this game and we’ll continue to improve the software if any more great ideas emerge.
