Format racing

Postby Des911 » Thu Jul 23, 2009 9:37 am

I've done a search but can't find anything. Has anyone done a sheet to use with Format Racing Method? It involves dutching the top 3 in the betting providing they meet certain criteria.

Any help would be much appreciated.

I tried this method for real money last summer.
Didn't keep exact records but it was a loosing system.
Glad I used small stakes.
There was a section with results in his site, does still exists?

Found it.It was just after the "contact" menu.
http://www.formatracing.co.uk/results and it appears

You 've been worned.

Post up the system so we can see what the conditions for making the bets are. Its always useful to see what stuff people are working on.

Its a dead dog .........

It was based on 2 back of a fag packet ideas that gave numerically similar values - from this - the author made the enormous leap that 'there was something in it'

However, closer examination of each of the unrelated ideas - showed that the numerical values of the solutions weren't close - draw your own conclusions !

There was another clue as to the usefulness of the concepts - the 'system description' became acutely vague in the last 2 paragraphs. Again - draw your own conclusions.

At best - imo - it is only half a system........

If you believe the following logic has a long term positive expectation then feel free to think its a workable system:

I quote: " What I knew is that around 70% of all races are won by one of the first three horses in the betting so if we can get better than combined odds of 2/5 on our three bets, then in the long term we will win"

However, if you don't, then put it where it deserves to be.......:)

Sports betting software from Gruss Software

The strength of Gruss Software is that it’s been designed by one of you, a frustrated sports punter, and then developed by listening to dozens of like-minded enthusiasts.

Gruss is owned and run by brothers Gary and Mark Russell. Gary discovered Betfair in 2004 and soon realised that using bespoke software to place bets was much more efficient than merely placing them through the website.

Gary built his own software and then enhanced its features after trialling it through other Betfair users and reacting to their improvement ideas, something that still happens today.

He started making a small monthly charge so he could work on it full-time and then recruited Mark to help develop the products and Gruss Software was born.

We think it’s the best of its kind and so do a lot of our customers. But you can never stand still in this game and we’ll continue to improve the software if any more great ideas emerge.
